For the 2024 holiday season, the DX Safety Team launched the Safe for the Holidays campaign, built around three pillars: cheer, wellbeing, and camaraderie. The campaign aimed to create a sense of home for Cast Members by sharing videos from Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Aulani. By showcasing the holiday magic at Disney, the campaign gave Cast Members an insider view of festive celebrations, helping them feel connected to the season no matter where they were.
I served as producer for both Walt Disney World videos and participated as interviewer for the Disney Springs video. I filmed the first video, edited both, and created motion graphics that reinforced the campaign’s inviting and festive atmosphere. All creative elements were designed to align with the brand guidelines established by Molly Wallace and Kaya Rivera, while integrating the campaign’s focus on well-being and safety to provide Cast Members with meaningful resources during the busy holiday season.
The first video featured Disney Program Participants at the Endless Possibilities Showcase at Flamingo Crossings. Cast Members wrote uplifting messages on snowflakes, which were collected and returned to the Disney Program front office for Cast to enjoy throughout the holiday season, connecting them to the magic of Disney and the spirit of giving.
The second video featured Jim Greene, Operations General Manager at Disney Springs. I conducted the interview, where we discussed safety measures implemented at Disney Springs during the holiday season. Our conversation highlighted initiatives such as the Tree Stroll, the new snow at Town Square, and general safety tips that Cast Members could apply to their own holiday decorations at home. A portion of the video has been blurred to protect proprietary backstage information.
