During my Spring 2020 quarter at SCAD, for my Screen Design and Typography class, I created a public service announcement titled "Surviving Mercury Retrograde." As astrology is one of my passions, I wanted to focus on the infamous cosmic event where communication seems to go awry. What exactly is Mercury Retrograde, and how does it affect us? The goal of this PSA is to educate the public on the phenomenon of Mercury Retrograde and offer tips on how to navigate this astrological occurrence. For the design, I was inspired by those charming, quirky greeting cards featuring sassy old ladies - the cards that have a humorous take on life - bringing a lighthearted, fun tone to the design.
